Sales Administrator

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced Sales or office administrator with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a keen customer focused attitude. As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient sales order processing, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our sales team. While prior experience is desirable, we are committed to providing comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with customers directly to address inquiries, provide information, and offer exceptional customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong communication and relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and trust.
  • Assist in generating sales quotations and entering sales orders into the system.
  • Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Uphold high levels of attention to detail when interacting with customers in person or over the phone.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to contribute to effective sales administration and coordination.
  • Complete general sales administration tasks to support the sales process.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a sales environment or customer-facing role is advantageous.
  • Leaving Cert or equivalent qualification is required; additional education is a bonus.
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are desirable.
  • Positive “can-do” attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and effective time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Familiarity with agriculture, equine, or civil industries is a plus, though not essential.
