Production Supervisor (Evolution)
The Production supervisor will be responsible for the JFC Evolution production lines. This role will require a self-motivated individual with a drive for process improvements. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for setting and achieving the daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s set for the team, while ensuring that safety and quality standards of all products are to the highest standard possible. This role is based at JFC Group Headquarters in Tuam, Co Galway
Key duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise the performance of the Evolution production floor
- Responsible for setting and achieving daily/weekly targets for each production line aligning these with the company’s quarterly forecast
- Motivate and support the production team to hit targets
- Responsible for production workflow and KPI’s, driving process improvements
- Hold daily PIT meetings to ensure performance targets are monitored and any issues addressed
- Report on and highlight quality issues
- Meet with the Operation’s team to report on KPI’s and production floor performance
- Promote lean projects and 6S methodology on the production floor
- Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organisation
- Ensure strict adherence to all Health and Safety Rules & Procedures
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 yrs. experience leading a production team is essential
- Ability to organise and manage daily activities in a fast-paced production floor
- Experience of hitting daily, weekly and monthly production targets
- Excellent communication skills
- Good technical and mechanical knowledge
- Problem solver that is solution’s driven
- Attention to detail is key for this role
- Confident and commercially aware
