Ploughing 2025

What a Week: JFC at the 2025 National Ploughing Championships

A whirlwind three days, 30 JFC team members, and over 225,000 visitors: Here’s how our best-ever Ploughing show unfolded.

JFC Ploughing Team 2025

We’re still catching our breath after what was JFC’s biggest Ploughing to date. Over three days, 225,500 people poured through the gates in Tullamore, and the JFC stand was packed from dusk ‘til dawn each day.

Our 30-strong team was on the ground meeting farmers, colleagues, and friends, keeping conversations, demonstrations, and plenty of fun flowing nonstop.

This year felt different, from the fantastic turnout to the excitement around our latest product launches. The pace and energy reminded us why the National Ploughing Championships remain such an important event for Irish agriculture.

As usual, there was no shortage of highlights. Here are some that stood out.

Innovation Stole the Show

Innovation has always been at the heart of JFC, and this year’s Ploughing proved just how much appetite there is for new ideas on farm. The launch of the Milk Kart 260 self-drive (watch this space for more details) and ATV 750T trailer turned heads all week, with many event goers stopping to take a closer look at JFC Agri Insta

The JFC Automatic Calf Feeder

The Evolution automatic calf feeder once again anchored the stand. We heard countless stories from farmers about how it has transformed calf rearing on their farms, and many more visited us specifically to see it in action and enquire about putting it to the test themselves.

There was an exceptional response around the unveiling of the Evolution Pro+, the latest development from our R&D team. This new model is the first of its kind, capable of feeding calves with whole milk, milk replacer, or a mix of both.

Our team ran demonstrations and used interactive presentation screens to give visitors a hands-on look at how each product works in practice. This is a big part of what people come to the stand for, and why we make the extra effort to bring products to the event.

On the Stand: Feedback, Fun, and Fresh Ideas

Farmers made sure we rarely had a quiet moment, with plenty of honest conversations about how JFC products are working on their farms and what they’d like to see next. One of the biggest talking points at the stand this year was our brand-new merchandise area. What started as a trial quickly turned into a hub of activity, with jackets, caps, and farm gear flying off the shelves.

JFC jerseys, hats, and wheelbarrows were popular among all visitors.

High-Profile Visitors

The JFC tent welcomed a steady stream of visitors from across government and farming circles.

Minister for Agriculture Michael Healy Rae, Minister for Transport Sean Canney, MEP Maria Walsh, and Louise Crowley, Limerick IFA County Chair, all stopped by to see the latest innovations and meet the team.

We were proud to host members of the UCD Ag Science Society at the stand. Earlier this year, JFC became a founding partner in UCD’s new €1 million Dairy Calf Education & Research Facility at Lyons Farm, alongside industry peers like ABP, Ornua, and MSD.

We also met with agri influencers Sophie Bell and Katie Shanahan, whose platforms continue to shape conversations in Irish agriculture. Their visits created a chance to show JFC’s newest developments to an engaged online audience, connecting with young farmers in particular.

Teamwork and Social Buzz

It took a dedicated crew to keep the stand moving across three packed days, and the energy never dipped. From early demos to late conversations, the collaboration and hard work behind the scenes made it all happen.

Away from the stand, the buzz carried over to social media. Customer interviews were a big hit, with TikTok clips racking up views and sparking plenty of engagement. If you missed the action in Tullamore, our channels are still the best place to catch the highlights.

Until Next Year…Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who visited the JFC stand at Ploughing 2025. Meeting so many farmers, colleagues, and friends over the three days is what makes this event special, and your support means everything to us.

We’re equally proud of the JFC team whose relentless work and energy turned this year’s show into our best yet.

The countdown to next year has already begun. See you at Ploughing 2026.
