Evolution Area Sales Manager UK

Purpose of Position

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a recognised company within the agricultural sector. This Role you will  focus on building the sales pipeline and seizing commercial opportunities across the market, driving the achievement of the plan through our distributor network and on farm with the JFC Evolution.  This role will involve achieving sales targets via lead generation and opportunity conversions by building strong customer relationships which supports our company’s growth plan.

Key duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for actively selling & promoting the JFC Evolution portfolio of products within the region.
  • Responsible for hitting your sales budget by proactively identifying new business opportunities with existing and new customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing, new end users and distributors.
  • Follow up with farm visits to customers to identify their needs and gain an understanding of their farm to ensure our product will suit their needs.
  • Involved with Market development planning.
  • Increase product awareness in the market place and drive sales in line with your sales target
  • Utilise CRM software for collaboration of daily activities, sales pipeline management along with market and customer information
  • Markets product by attending trade shows, conferences open days and presenting product USP.
  • Provide product training and demonstration to our customer and support our distributors.
  • Provide technical support at all stages of the sale pipeline.
  • To continually develop strong product knowledge on new and existing products
  • Maintain positive business relationships
  • Maximise the potential of the area

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years field sales experience B2C essential and B2B an added advantage
  • A strong working knowledge of farming and agriculture is essential (Dairy sector preferable) with a technical understanding of agricultural products an advantage
  • Advanced negotiation and selling skills.
  • A proven history of working to and achieving sales budgets/targets.
  • Overnight 1-2 nights a week maybe required.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications, previous experience in using CRM an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with advanced negotiation and closing skills required
  • Full clean driving licence essential
  • A third level qualification in business or another relevant field is an advantage
  • Organise own diary
