JFC Group Golf Charity Event

For the past number of years, JFC Group have organised a Charity Golf event, for a number of worthy charities at Claremorris Golf Club. The event has proved to be a huge success in every way especially for the designated charities, who have benefited in a very significant way. The JFC Charity Day is annual golf charity event that takes place at Claremorris Golf Club. We rotate it each year so that we support an international aid charity one year, followed by a local charity the next.

This year’s golf charity event is in aid of Self Help Africa. Self Help Africa is calling on its supporters and everyone in Galway and the West of Ireland to support their New Emergency Campaign appeal for help after the devastation of Cyclone Idai in Southern Africa. For more details on the charity you can visit the website www.selfhelpafrica.org

The format for this year’s golf outing is an AM AM with a shotgun start at 1.30pm on Friday 19th July 2019. There is also the option to play on Thursday 18th July where there will be a time sheet at Claremorris Golf Club. Followed by a BBQ Friday evening in the Club House.

Winning team win 4 X FW3 Electric Trolley 2019 Powakaddys. Prizes for the 1st four teams, Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin.

The first time JFC ran the 2 day event was back in 2006 and was in Aid of Galway Sri Lanka Tsunami Relief Project. Since then JFC have run the golf charity event a wide variety of charities including  the Nepalese Children’s foundation,  International aid charity GOAL, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, Pieta House West, Western Alzheimers, to name but a few.

JFC Group would like to thank all their supporters, customers and suppliers for their help with prizes and donations to this very worthy cause. Spaces are still available for anyone that wants to enter the competition.  So contact Chris at the Claremorris Golf club on (094) 93 71527 or Joni on (093) 24066, email: jmullin@jfc.ie to enter your team. We hope that you can join us for what promises to be a “Golf Day to Remember” and an outstanding sporting and social occasion.
