Our Key Sustainability Actions
ISO 14001 Certified
Our Tuam facility operates under a certified ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Repak & BPF Recognition
We hold a Repak Certificate of Compliance and have been recognised by the British Plastics Federation for circularity leadership.
70% Recycled Material
Most HDPE & LDPE-based products now use approximately 70% recycled material.
94% Recycled Content
CorriPipe™ contains 94% recycled content, verified within its Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
432 Tonnes Recycled
In 2024 alone, 432 tonnes of plastic waste were recycled and reintroduced into production.
24% GHG Reduction
We achieved a 24% reduction in Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas emissions since 2022.
Fewer Transport Loads
Our pipe design results in 4.84 X fewer arctic trailer loads compared to concrete alternatives.
Rainwater Harvesting
A rainwater harvesting system reduces reliance on mains supply and improves water efficiency.
Employee Wellbeing
Flexible work policies, mental health awareness, and health & safety programmes support staff wellbeing.
Community Support
We actively support a wide range of community initiatives and partnerships.
Our Sustainability Journey
Sustainability is embedded into how we design products, manage materials, support people, and reduce our overall environmental footprint.
Ecovadis Bronze Rating
Our Ecovadis Bronze recognition in 2025 marks an important milestone in how sustainability is embedded within the business. It places us among the stronger performers assessed globally and provides independent validation of the progress made across environmental practices, ethics, labour and human rights, and responsible sourcing.
Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
By developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for selected products. we provide verified environmental data that supports specification, compliance, and sustainability-led decision-making on projects where environmental performance matters.
Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
Our environmental practices are supported by a structured environmental management system certified to ISO 14001. This certification confirms that we have processes in place to identify, manage, monitor, and review the environmental aspects of our operations, with a focus on continual improvement.
Circular Manufacturing
Circular manufacturing focuses on reducing waste by reusing materials, recycling plastics, and closing the loop within our operations. We support this by recovering and pre-processing operational waste and reintroducing suitable materials back into use, reducing reliance on virgin plastics and limiting the amount of material sent to landfill.
Carbon Reduction
We are committed to long-term decarbonisation across our operations. This includes improving energy efficiency, investing in operational upgrades, and refining manufacturing processes to reduce emissions over time. By focusing on continuous improvement rather than short-term measures, we aim to deliver sustained carbon reduction across our facilities as part of a broader sustainability approach.
Resource Efficiency
We use rainwater harvesting and apply tight controls within manufacturing to limit material waste. Improvements in storage, packing, and planning also form part of our approach to reducing unnecessary resource use across logistics operations.
People & Community
Our people are central to how we operate. We provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive working environment, invest in training and development, and place real value on the people behind our products. We stay connected to local communities and maintain strong ties with the areas that surround and support our business.
Working Together for a Better Future
Sustainability is a continuous journey. We are committed to driving innovation, reducing our footprint, and supporting a healthier, more circular world.
